Reserve the airport room first, or the Schiphol hotel massage? The order that saves trouble
A night by the airport with a session in it involves two reservations, one with a hotel and one in the booking thread. Neither depends on the other in principle. In practice, a little order between them prevents the two most common disappointments: a hotel outside the area, and a room too small for the evening you had in mind.
Ask about the building before you pay for it
If you have not reserved a room yet, the first message can come before the hotel booking. Name the building you are considering and ask whether it is inside the area. That costs nothing and settles the one question that cannot be fixed later, since some hotels sold as airport hotels stand in towns beyond the grounds. The page on whether your hotel is inside the area explains where the boundary runs.
Then choose the room for the evening, not only for the night
Once the building is confirmed, reserve a room that suits what you want to book. A standard double carries any booking with one therapist. A couple, or two therapists for one guest, need a room with floor on both sides of a king bed, and the page on rooms for two lists which categories manage it. Nuru and soapy massage need a bath or a walk-in shower, which the bathroom comparison explains. Twenty seconds spent on the room type now saves an awkward reply later.
Then open the thread
With the room reserved, write with the hotel's name, the date, the hour and the length. The room number can wait until check-in. The reply proposes a start, states the figure and agrees her journey out to your building, and the booking is fixed only when you confirm. Because it is a visit near the airport, half the fee goes ahead at that point.
When the dates are busy
During large conferences, trade fairs and the start of school holidays, hotels around the terminal fill early. On those dates reserve the room first and promptly, then write. A peak date also carries a deposit wherever you stay, so nothing about the session changes except the need to plan it a little sooner.
A flexible rate is worth considering
Hotels sell cheaper rates that cannot be cancelled and dearer ones that can. If your flight or your dates are uncertain, the flexible rate keeps the two reservations moving together: the session can be moved once, free, when asked more than a day ahead, and a room on a flexible rate can follow it. The page on two bookings and their two sets of rules sets the hotel's terms beside the house's.
